sashiko (刺し子) — a japanese stitching technique, originally used to reinforce and preserve fabric.
built from 500gsm organic cotton french terry — dense, substantial, soft on the inside. boxy and slightly cropped. pigment dyed through a traditional process — the color builds on the surface of the fabric rather than through it, softening and fading gradually with every wash.
the canvas patch is hand-stamped and hand-stitched onto every single piece.
care
machine wash cold (30°). wash inside out. do not bleach. do not tumble dry. lay flat or hang to dry naturally. store folded.
pigment-dyed garments are meant to change. with every wash and wear, the color softens and shifts — building a character that's entirely yours. wash separately for the first few cycles if you're concerned about color transfer, especially with darker shades.
